Greed
I only come across Francesco Vezzoli’s work recently and I love it.
The project I came across is ‘Greed’ which is a fake advertising campaign that spun from the Ralph Lauren advert featuring Laetitia Casta.
It features both Natalie Portman and Michelle Williams fighting over a new perfume. It mirrors the strategy and style of a perfume advertising campaign and adds to his other work exploring the power of contemporary media culture. The short film isn’t available yet but you can see a 30 second clip on Dazed Digital. Now I just need to get a cheap flight to Rome for his opening. Hmm.
